Trails of Cold Steel is an expansive JRPG filled with sharp writing, great characters and intriguing narrative. Some repetitive gameplay and monotonous quest structure doesn't stop it from being an enjoyable experience.

He may not be the most obvious choice for great Final Fantasy characters, but for me, Kimahri Ronso always stood out more than most.
