A Gamer’s Life Update #5

Hi everyone! I hope you’re all doing great and enjoying the beginnings of summer. I’m currently on the last week of my work placement and I have so much more frequent content coming in the next few months for my blog. I’ve recently finished a couple of games that I will be writing reviews for, to be published in the next month. The Sinking City was a strange, flawed but engrossing experience, and my review for that will be up next week. While I just finished the indie game Regalia: Of Men and Monarchs, and it is definitely one of the best indie games I’ve played this year. It has such charming humour and great characters that it is definitely a game that I can recommend to people.

I will have a post up tomorrow that was debating whether or not to publish. It’s about my fears for the next Legend of Zelda game and can come across as a bit of a rant, but I feel that I have put my thoughts and opinions out in a good enough way. At the end of the day, I created this blog to not only have creative freedom over the content I write, but also to share with people my honest thoughts about video games and related topics. I hope you enjoy that post tomorrow.

In terms of games I’m playing right now, I have just started Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn as I wanted to try a traditional MMORPG. I’ve been playing the Elder Scrolls Online for 4 years now, but it is more of a hybrid MMO. As I am a massive Final Fantasy fan, I’ve wanted to play 14 for a while now and since I got myself a PS4 last year, I finally have gotten around to trying it out. I don’t know whether I’ll do a full review but I might try doing a regular update of my time playing it, where I can talk about the things I enjoy and the things I don’t like.

So, thanks for reading and I hope you are looking forward to and enjoy the content I have planned over the next few months. Talk again soon 🙂
